Our thrift stores are often the first introduction to SVdP for the community, and they help bring in funding to serve those most in need. Our stores are a wonderful way for those whose income does not stretch very far to get nice quality products for reduced prices. Our neediest clients enrolled in our social service programs may receive vouchers to purchase necessities at a SVdP store such as beds, kitchen tables and housewares. Thrift Store volunteers help with unloading and sorting donated items, organizing merchandise, testing electronics, greeting customers, cleaning, setting window and floor displays, and providing excellent customer service.
Age requirements: 16 and up, or 14+ with adult
Groups: Contact us if your group is over 10 people or if you are scheduling on behalf of an organization.
